About Us
FS Accountants established in 2009.
FS Accountants is a firm capable of providing for all of the accountancy needs of small to medium sized businesses.
Robert is responsible for all accountancy related services.
Robert completed his primary degree in Accountancy in Dublin Business School (DBS) where he graduated with an honors degree during September 1994.
Robert completed his apprenticeship with Hogan & Associates a small Chartered Accountancy firm. He passed his final admittance exam in November 1997 and completed his articles in February 1998 at which point he was admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland as a full member.
In March 1998, Robert joined Oliver Freaney & Company (now Smith, Williamson), and gained experience in all aspects of Accounting on a client base ranging from small sole traders to large Irish owned retail companies. Robert worked on a number of large audit clients, including some semi state bodies in his time there.
Robert Moved into Industry in July 2002 working for Poster Management Limited (PML) in July 2002. This is a medium sized advertising company that was an audit client of Oliver Freaney & Company. Robert was the financial controller for the PML group, responsible for headquarters in Dublin and its branch operating from Belfast.
Ian is responsible for all tax related accountancy services.
Ian completed his primary degree in Accountancy in the Institute of Technology in Tallaght, where he graduated with a first class honors degree during September 1998.
Ian’s post graduate education was in Michael Smurfit School of Business where he studied a Masters in Accountancy.
Ian completed his accounting apprenticeship with KPMG where he passed his final admittance exam in November 2001 and completed his articles in 2002 at which point he was admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland as a full member.
Ian joined Deloitte during November 2002 and worked there for almost 4 years. While working in Deloitte he qualified as a Full Member of the Institute of Tax Ireland and gained experience working with some of the largest companies in the world.
